SSF Services Pty Ltd (ABN 84632877902) (referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”
“SSF”) values the trust you place in us when you give us access to your
information. We created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our commitment
to the protection of your privacy and your personal information. In this
regard, SSF is bound by and complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and
Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
To provide the services that SSF offers, we need to know who you are in order
to effectively fulfil your needs. We may ask for information that could be used
to personally identify you. SSF collects ‘Personal Information’ directly from
you, while registering as a user on the Platform, or availing services offered on
the Platform, or from any person on behalf of you.
“Personal Information” has the meaning given to it in the Privacy Act 1988
(Cth) (Act). The information collected from you by SSF may constitute ‘personal
information’ or ‘sensitive personal data or information’. Sensitive information
is a sub-set of personal information that is accorded greater safeguards under

This process is a mandatory requirement for all candidates, employees or contractors who are registering to carry out work duties for The SSF Group Australia.
a. When you access and use the Platform, we automatically record
log data and device details. This data consists of, among other
things, a record of your interactions with our Platform, as well as
your access dates and times, software information, device
information, device event information, operating system type,
unique identifiers, crash data, cookie data. This kind of data is
used by us to send notifications to segregate the analytics of how
many types of devices are used, to manage the Website/App and
to spot trends.
b. A cookie is a small text file that enables our system to recognize
and communicate with your device more efficiently. With the help
of cookies, we will be able to gather certain anonymous data
about how you use the Website/App. These cookies keep track of data like how frequently you visit the Website/App, and your
subsequent movements. Your device is tracked by the cookies, not
you. You can configure your device to restrict or disable cookies,
however, this may cause some parts of the Platform not to have
full functionality.
c. Through the Website/App, we gather information about your
payment transactions, such as the type of payment method used,
the dates and times of payments, the amounts of payments, your
billing postcode, address, and other pertinent transaction
information.
We may receive Personal Information and/or anonymous data about you from
any person on behalf of you, or a third party.
If we receive personal information about you from a third party, we will
protect it as set out in this privacy policy.
If you are a third party giving us personal information about someone else, you
guarantee and represent that you have that person’s permission to do so.
We collect Requestor Details (e.g., case manager, medical practitioner, nurse,
care adviser/ coordinator, client nominee representative, business manager)
while they fill the SSF Service Request Form. Information like Name, Email, and
the Referral purchase order number (if applicable) shall be obtained.
Where we get unsolicited information (being information provided to us
without us having sought the information), we will only retain, use, and
disclose that information if we could otherwise do so had we collected it by the
means described above. If the unsolicited information could not have been
collected by the means described above, then we will appropriately discard,
permanently delete or de-identify the information.
We use the data we collect to fulfil your requests, respond to your inquiries, or
otherwise help us serve you better, including in the manner listed below:
1. To identify you as a user in our system, we verify your credentials and
authenticate documents provided by you and your identity;
2. To conduct or confirm background checks, such as police, reference, and
other screening checks;
3. To facilitate the creation of, and secure, your account on our network,
and update when necessary;
4. To offer the services you seek;
5. To facilitate better management of our Platform and services and to give
you a secure, effective, and personalized experience;
6. To respond to your questions and requests and/or troubleshoot
problems;
7. To verify your compliance with your obligations in our terms of use or
other SSF policies;
8. To send you administrative e-mail notifications, such as security or
support and maintenance advisories or to alert you when our User
Agreement or any of our policies change;
9. To contact you via phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email for appointments,
technical issues, payment reminders, deals and offers and other
announcements, solicit your feedback, or to contact you for other
purposes authorized by law;
10.For internal record keeping, administrative purposes, invoicing and
billing purposes;
11.To transfer information about you if so necessitated;
12.To personalize, measure, and improve our advertising and marketing;
13.To send newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials
related to our services and for other SSF marketing purposes;
14. To conduct security investigations and risk assessments;

potentially prohibited or illegal activities, establish, exercise, or defend a
legal claim, and enforce our and enforce our Terms of Use;
16. To utilize the data in response to requests by law enforcement
authorities, or in response to complaints where we are under a legal or
regulatory obligation to adhere to a complaint handling procedure i.e.,
to abide by the law and safeguard our legitimate interests.
Once you have voluntarily given us your consent to share your personal
information, you give us permission to exchange, transfer, share, or otherwise
make available all or any portion of your personal information with our
affiliates, agents, third-party service providers, partners, banks, and financial
institutions, among others, for the purposes outlined in this policy or as may be
necessary.
We may disclose your Personal Information in the ways set forth below:
1. DISCLOSURE TO OTHER USERS
a. Support Workers and Customers are described on our Platform by
their first name and first initial of their surname only. When a
Customer and a Support Worker wish to make contact with each
other for the purposes of Care Services, SSF will release Personal
Information about each person to the other person (this will
include each person’s full name and contact details and may
include health information and other sensitive information
collected by us in accordance with this Policy).
b. If you are a Support Worker, we will publish your photograph, first
name, last name, and the initial few lines of your profile
description if a client has looked for support workers in or close to
your suburb. We might give customers that hire you through SSF a
copy of your references, credentials, working with children check,
police check and any other screening checks and certifications
that apply.
2. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS AND OTHER ENTITIES
a. We may transfer/disclose/share Information (other than your
personal information) to third-party service providers who help us
run our business, such as those who provide technical
infrastructure services, analyze how our services are used, provide
merchant services, facilitate payments, or conduct academic
research and surveys. These affiliates and third-party service providers must comply with the confidentiality responsibilities
outlined in this privacy policy.
b. Despite the aforementioned, we also work with additional third
parties to help you pay for services you use, such a payment
gateway, credit/debit card processing firm, pre-paid cards, etc.
You might be able to keep your card information when you sign
up for these services for future use and quicker payments. In this
situation, we may divulge your pertinent personal information,
such as your name, address, and email address, as required for
the third parties to deliver these services. We are not in any way
accountable or liable to you or any third party for any delay or
failure on their part to process the payments or authorizations in
line with these third parties’ policies, terms, or conditions.
c. If we decide to merge with, be acquired by, amalgamate, or
otherwise restructure our business, we and our affiliates may
disclose or sell some or all of your personal information to
such business entity. In the event that such a transaction takes
place, the business entity (or the resulting combined firm) will be
obligated to abide by this privacy statement with regard to your
personal data.

so by law, regulation, or other legal obligation or order, in
response to a request from a law enforcement or governmental
agency, judicial, quasi-judicial, or any other statutory or constitutional authority, or to establish or exercise our legal rights

fraud, illegal activity, potential threats to the physical safety of any
person, or violations of any of our terms and conditions or

personal information and non-personal information won’t result in any
unjustified losses for you or any other parties involved, or unjustified gains for
us or any other parties.

must also be obliged by all of our employees and contractors who work
on our information systems.
